Where to Earn More in GTA 5: U4GM Odd Jobs Guide from Rodrigo60's blog

AD

Los Santos has picked up a working-week vibe, and not in a bad way. If you've been jumping in just to spin the wheel or mess about with friends, this is one of those updates that gives you a reason to stay logged in. The new Odd Jobs pay double GTA$ and RP, so even small tasks feel worth doing. Players building up fresh characters, or sorting out spare GTA V Accounts, will notice the difference pretty quickly, because these jobs don't ask for a huge setup cost or a full crew.

Odd Jobs Feel Different This Week

The three new jobs are simple, but they've got their own rhythm. Firefighter is the loud one. You're dealing with fires, gas leaks, rescues, and yes, even cats stuck in awkward places. It sounds silly until the timer starts pushing you. Forklift Operator is the complete opposite. You're at the Alpha Mail warehouse, moving pallets and keeping shipments in order. It's slower, almost relaxing, though bad driving can still make a mess of it. Paper Route is the easiest to settle into. Grab the newspapers, follow the route, and get paid. None of these feel like big heists, and that's the point. They're quick jobs for players who want money without turning the night into a military operation.

Double Rewards Give You Room to Pick

Rockstar hasn't limited the bonus to the new content either. All Odd Jobs are paying out double GTA$ and RP, so older short work is back on the menu too. RC Time Trials are also worth doing if you know the routes, and featured races like the Issi Classic Races can be good fun with a full lobby. The Community Race Series is another solid option, especially for players who'd rather earn while driving than sit through cutscenes. Taxi Work gets double GTA$ only, but it's still decent if you want something calm between bigger activities. For business owners, the doubled Cocaine Lockup production is the real money-maker. Stock builds faster, and that means fewer dead hours waiting around.

Pizza Runs Are Better Than They Sound

The weekly challenge is built around Pizza Delivery, and it's honestly one of the easier wins this week. Complete five deliveries and you'll get the Pizza This Tee along with GTA$300,000. Since the rewards are tripled, it's hard to ignore. A lot of players skip these casual delivery jobs because they don't look exciting on the map, but this one is worth clearing early. It doesn't take much planning. Just keep the bike steady, don't overthink the route, and avoid picking fights with every random player nearby. Do that, and the payout feels surprisingly generous for such a low-stress task.

Free Gear and Smart Discounts

There are some useful savings running until February 4, and a few of them line up nicely with the week's bonuses. The Pegassi Pizza Boy is free, which makes the delivery challenge even easier to justify. Cocaine Lockup properties and upgrades are 40% off, so anyone who's been waiting to buy or improve one should probably stop waiting. Vehicle discounts sit at 30% for rides like the Fire Truck, Taxi, Zorrusso, Shamal, Freecrawler, and several others. The Gun Van also has a 50% discount on the Service Carbine, while GTA+ members get 30% off the Military Rifle. If you're starting over, helping a mate, or looking to buy GTA V Accounts for a cleaner setup, this is a good week to plan your money moves carefully and avoid wasting cash on full-price gear.
